Leadership

Lana, Director of Soap Development & Marketing, is a graduate of Spelman College, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. She brings over two decades of professional experience in marketing, public health education, and advocacy. Her work has included national and international initiatives in health awareness, program development, and community education, partnering with organizations such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Food and Drug Administration, and other public and private institutions.

Michael, Director of Sales & Distribution, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the College of Charleston. His background spans international professional athletics, operations, logistics, and supply chain management, including experience in regulated industries where precision, accountability, and reliability are essential.

Raised in Christian households, Lana and Michael are united by a shared calling to serve others both physically and spiritually, leading Psalm 23 Soap Ministry with the intention of pointing people toward Jesus and His Word through their work.

Genesis

In 2019, a personal health journey revealed that many everyday body care products were strongly linked to endocrine disruption and infertility. After stepping away from familiar routines, safe and effective alternatives were difficult to find — especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, when frequent handwashing caused painful dryness and eczema.

What began as a search for gentle, nourishing care led to handcrafting soap with purpose. Thoughtfully chosen ingredients and skin-comforting formulas quickly became a solution not only for one person, but for friends, family, and others with sensitive skin.

In October 2023, this journey became Psalm 23 Soap Ministry — a calling rooted in faith and care.
