Being Poured Into So You Can Pour Out

You cannot pour out if you are never poured into.
— Psalm 23 Soap Ministry

There are seasons when you feel empty—not because you have failed, but because you have been giving.

Time, energy, patience, care.
Pouring into others, showing up, carrying what needed to be carried.

And eventually, something within you begins to feel depleted.

But God never calls you to pour from what you do not have.

Scripture reminds us, “My cup runs over.” Not barely filled. Not just enough. Overflowing.

The life God gives is not meant to leave you drained. It is meant to fill you first—so that what you give to others flows from abundance, not exhaustion.

When you feel worn, it is not a signal to push harder. It is an invitation to return.

Return to stillness.
Return to His presence.
Return to the place where you are filled again.

You were never meant to be the source.
Only the vessel.

And a vessel is not responsible for creating what it carries—only for remaining open to receive.

As you move through your days, let this be your reminder: being poured into is not optional. It is necessary.

Because what flows out of you is always shaped by what fills you.
